The SAP world is undergoing profound change. S/4HANA, the cloud, business AI, Joule, SAP Business Data Cloud, automation, and new integration concepts are transforming the possibilities of modern enterprise IT. Milliarum AI Construction Kit: Building Bridges Instead of Reinventing Systems
The Milliarum AI Construction Kit (MAICK) is the centerpiece of the company’s trade show presentation. It connects existing on-premise SAP environments with modern AI technologies, thereby bridging the gap between proven SAP processes and the new possibilities of enterprise AI. Depending on the use case, companies can integrate cloud-based or on-premise large language models to implement hybrid scenarios. Predefined use cases and agents, customer-specific extension options, and support for MCP (Model Context Protocol), A2A (Agent-to-Agent), and SAP Joule pave a step-by-step path from individual AI applications to agent-based business processes. In addition, Milliarum presents AI tools for portfolio, project, and resource management in SAP that, for example, enable voice-based interaction with SAP functions and support users in utilizing and analyzing SAP data. In this session, Dirk Ott will introduce the Milliarum AI Construction Kit and explore various architectural options for deploying AI in SAP On-Premise. The focus will include, among other things, the integration of large language models (LLMs) in the cloud and on-premises LLM installations, hybrid architectures, predefined use cases and agents, customer-specific customization options, support for MCP and A2A, and integration with SAP Joule. This addresses a key question for many SAP user companies: How can AI be integrated into the existing SAP landscape today without having to wait for a complete migration to the cloud?

Niron Uthayakumar, an SAP consultant and ABAP developer, will join Patrick Seidel, a developer at Milliarum, to demonstrate—using real-world AI use cases and agents—how various frameworks and technologies can be integrated with SAP On-Premise. These include, among others, MCP Server, A2A, and Joule. Based on a selected use case, the underlying architecture will also be examined: Which components are required? How are the systems connected to one another? And what technical configuration is necessary to turn an AI concept into a functioning application in the SAP environment?
PLAVEO Visits the Milliarum Booth
A special highlight awaits booth visitors on the second day of the DSAG Annual Conference: We welcome our partner company PLAVEO, which will present its solutions for the SAP Project System (PS) and demonstrate how multi-project management and Gantt planning can be optimized directly within the SAP environment. Planning conflicts become visible in a configurable live cockpit. You can plan deadlines and capacities in the Gantt interface directly within SAP instead of in Excel and immediately see where your actual bottlenecks lie. This gives Milliarum users the opportunity to explore complementary solutions for even more transparent and efficient project management.
