Bridge Technology for Enterprise AI in SAP

Artificial intelligence is increasingly becoming a key strategic technology for businesses. At the same time, the question arises of how modern AI applications can be integrated into existing SAP landscapes in a secure, cost-effective, and sustainable manner. Milliarum addressed precisely this challenge at the BIG BANG KI Festival 2026 dedicated to the event, which took place on September 16 and 17 at STATION Berlin. At booth N4 in the Blue Hall of the exhibition grounds, Milliarum presented the latest developments in enterprise AI for SAP and demonstrated how the path from initial AI applications to intelligent agent systems can be shaped in a practical way.

Enterprise AI for Existing SAP Environments

The highlight of the festival presentation was the Milliarum AI Construction Kit (MAICK). The platform enables the development and integration of modern AI applications into SAP systems, regardless of whether they are operated on-premises, in the cloud, or in a hybrid environment. Intelligent assistants, chatbots, and AI agents can be seamlessly integrated into existing business processes on this basis. Companies benefit from an architecture that protects existing SAP investments, flexibly integrates various AI models, and meets high standards for data protection and governance. With over 1,000 predefined use cases, MAICK serves as the enterprise AI bridge for SAP: The platform connects existing SAP systems with modern AI technologies and lays the foundation for the gradual development of intelligent enterprise applications. MAICK bridges the gap between on-premises and cloud environments, between traditional SAP interfaces and modern AI models, and between today’s business processes and future agent-based applications. This opens up new opportunities to use AI productively without having to fundamentally change existing system landscapes.

From Pilot Projects to Productive AI

While many companies have already gained some initial experience with generative AI, the question of a scalable enterprise AI architecture is increasingly taking center stage:
